Should Editors use the Plural pronoun in speaking of themselves. We think they should, and

we will give our reasons.

[Stern says he feels enlarged by the honor of being an editor, so he’ll use the plural. But he goes on to say he is humbled by the task and adds that many Lyceum members prefer shorter papers. He urges verbal criticism as a good mental exercise and compares it to digesting food.]
