What a wonderful and complicated machine is man. It is with admiration that [we] behold the harmonious movements of powerful engines, printing presses, and other useful machines which have taxed the minds of a number of the most talented mehanics for ages, but in the end, how trifling! how insignificant contrasted with man, who bears the image of his creator, and is the most complicated of all his works and the capstone to creation.
